What we collect here

Plainly: this website has no contact form, no newsletter and no user accounts. If you are only browsing, we collect no personal data about you.

There are only three situations in which data is processed:

1. Table bookings

The booking form on the contact page belongs to CoverManager, which handles bookings on our behalf.

  • What data: whatever you enter when booking — name, phone, email, number of guests, date and time, and any comment you add, such as allergies.
  • Why: to manage your booking, confirm it, remind you of it and organise the dining room.
  • Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one (article 6.1.b GDPR).
  • How long: as long as needed to manage the booking, and afterwards for the period during which legal liabilities may arise.

2. Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps technical records of visits: IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type.

  • Why: to keep the site running and protect it against attacks or abuse.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the service (article 6.1.f GDPR).
  • How long: the hosting provider’s retention period, usually a few weeks.

3. Third-party cookies

The Google map and the booking system set their own cookies, but only if you accept them. Until then they stay blocked and your browser never connects to them.

  • Legal basis: your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from «Cookie settings» in the footer.
  • Full detail in the cookie policy.

Beyond these, we do not pass your data to anyone, except where the law requires it.

Data leaving the European Union

If you accept third-party cookies, Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you do not accept them, that transfer never happens.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to the postal address above, stating which right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of your identity document. You can also raise it by calling either of our phone numbers.

If your request concerns a specific booking, going through CoverManager is usually quickest, since they handle them. Either way, you can come to us and we will take care of it.

If you believe your request was not handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.

Children

This website is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Bookings are always made by an adult.
